In just about two weeks we will be back for the start of a new semester. EDUC 403 has just become available on Moodle. Please take some time to become familiar with the contents in our course platform on Moodle.
The REQUIRED textbook for this course is:
McLaughlin, M. (2010). Content area reading: Teaching and learning in an age of multiple literacies. New York, NY: Pearson Education, Inc. (Bookstore or order on-line – required for every class)
Although the bookstore has a few copies, I suggest you order it on-line so you have your hard copy for the first day of class.
You also will need a bound composition book (no spirals) to keep for your notebook for this class. Back to school sales make this available for less than a dollar. You also will need colored pencils, scissors, note cards (3 x 5), and a glue stick. These materials are used frequently in this class.
On Moodle you will note a copy of the course outline. I am attaching a copy of the course outline here and hopefully Moodle will send it to you via email. You need a printed copy of the course outline for the first class day.
So, you have two more weeks of vacation. Enjoy them...
See you soon! God bless!
